When does founding artist status lock in?
When you subscribe to premium, not at signup. Creating your artist profile reserves a spot for 14 days. Subscribe within that window and your founding status is locked in. Wait longer and the spot is released back to the pool.

What happens if I cancel?
Your founding status is permanently revoked. If you resubscribe later you'll be on the standard 1.5% premium rate. There is no way to restore founding status once it's lost.

When does the founding badge show on my profile?
After you complete your first commission. The badge is a signal that you're an active artist on the platform, not just a subscriber. It requires at least one completed commission to display publicly.

Are Stripe fees on top of the platform fee?
Yes, always. Stripe processing fees (~2.9% + $0.30) are passed through to the artist on every fiat transaction regardless of tier. The platform never absorbs Stripe fees. On crypto (USDC), there are no Stripe fees. Only the platform fee applies.

What counts as a 'completed commission' for the fee calculation?
The fee is calculated on the commission total at the time the commission is accepted, and the rate is locked for that commission. If your subscription status changes mid-commission, the rate on that commission doesn't change.
